Changes to board of directors

The RAVECLEAN™ team is sad to announce that Sebastian will no longer be working with us as a member of our Board of Directors. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors and are grateful for everything that he has contributed to RAVECLEAN™ thus far.

Our remaining members of the Board, Daniel, Nick, Jon, and Rachel, are still committed to the mission and core values of RaveClean™. We want to continue providing drug and alcohol free parties to all of our sober ravers out there and look forward to planning LVL4. We love you guys!

New non-profit hosts local, drug- and alcohol-free rave.

A new non-profit RAVECLEAN™ is having its first full-scale event, LVL 2, on 7/11/2015 at 9 PM in downtown Greensboro, NC. RaveClean collaborates with local communities to organize open, free-to-attend, drug- and alcohol-free EDM (Electronic Dance Music) dance parties.

LVL 2 will take place in at the Community Theatre of Greensboro, 520 S Elm St, Greensboro, North Carolina 27406. Free at the door and open to anyone over 16, LVL 2 will feature seven headliner DJs, body painting, live graffiti, flow arts, and refreshments. Organizers expect the venue to reach its full capacity of 261 standing for this event. The founding members of RaveClean are people in sustained long-term recovery from substance use who wish to serve local communities by making the joy of EDM music and dancing accessible without the risks inherent with alcohol and other substances.

“Whether you’re living a substance free lifestyle or just want a night of high energy music and dancing without drugs and alcohol, we have something amazing for you,” said Sebastian Dorin, President and Chairperson of RaveClean. Clean raves are a growing trend across the country. Joe Coscarelli of the New York Times recently wrote an article covering the rising presence of substance-free zones at major music festivals.
